So, I guess I've been tagged:)

The assignment was to go to the sixth file and find the sixth photo and blog about it. Well, honestly I'm not the best at downloading my photos in a timely manner. I did two years all at once. So, I went to my single massive folder and chose the 36th photo to write about. Two years ago I took a cruise with some friends. The destination was the Bahamas. If you have seen Casino Royale, Nassau (in the above photo) is where James Bond goes to "Relax" in the beginnig of the movie. In the top left corner you can see the south edge of their famous hotel The Atlantis. Everything there is very colorful from the buildings to the womens hair. The main island is very poor and dirty. Seen above is Paradise Island where the wealthy and famous reside. The locals said that Oprah, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and one of the original James Bonds Sean Connery all have homes there. Who knows if any of it is true or if they just say that to impress us naive tourists. It is always good to get outside of our own little world we have here and see how other people live. I have a greater appreciation of how blessed we are in the states and particularly here in Utah.

So, the other night I went to an "Apple Ugly Party". We took carameled apples and used assorted candy to decorate them. Mine is the red headed one....Not too exciting. The best in my humble opinion was Cat's. It was a mummy...She used bubble tape gum for the wrap and a gummie eyeball for the cyclops eye. They were all great!

I think I am the worst blogger, the truth is I don't ever take my camera to anything to take pictures...maybe I should do that.

I went to the zoo last Saturday with Brandi, James and their two girls, Ashlynn and Tegan. They loved every minute of it. I am now convinced that September is the time to go. It's not too hot or crowded. There were a lot of baby animals scurrying around. The girafffes are my favorite, they have such beautiful eyes. I still miss the hippos though!

So, yesterday was the 7th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. I thought all day about those events. I was able to go to NYC last September and again in June. I have seen the enormous hole left after the twin towers fell. It is very humbling and inspiring. May nothing like that ever happen again.

So, thanks to several people saying that I need to get a blogspot,

I am finally going to give it a try. It's all going to be about me, cause that's all there is!
